In the way of things, this is what I needed to hear in just this moment--even though you wrote it before this moment happened. I love that about words, about writing and meaning and truth. Thank you for speaking to hope in a way I can root into.
For whatever reason “re-root” struck me. Just as I hope and pray that the people of WNC can re-root their lives, I hope I can re-root mine in love, hope and grace. Needed when I want to fall into hate. Spite, despair, constant blaming and anger. Don’t want to live there. So I will turn my eyes towards Jesus. Thanks for your beautiful and needed words.
Thank you for your words of hope Amanda. Like others who have written their comments, I am lamenting over the election, and what it means for our country and our world. May the Lord grant us his peace and give us the hope that you have put into words for many of us reading this today.❤️
These words helped me start a day of despair, lack of hope and tears from many…. It gave me words to use to comfort others. God always makes things grow again♥️
I am so numb right now. It is 4:55 am here in California. Seeing an email from you, and reading your pearls of wisdom helped me so much. I will work through my grief. This here is MY country. Nothing will every change that. The healing begins with me. Take care. Love, Kat
